Day 87 – Florence

Beard2

Time for a change! After 2,5 months of growing my beard, which came in handy as I didn’t need to shave and in Iran I blended well in, I decided to trim my beard… it feels strange without all the fluffy hair but let’s be honest, it didn’t really suit me, did it?

After that morning shave session it was time to discover the city! Florence, cradle of the Renaissance and home of Machiavelli, Michelangelo and the Medici, this is a magnetic and young city which you won’t full comprehend even if you would spent here a week. However, a day already gave us a nice impression. We conquered the steps, this time 463, to the top of the Duomo for, again, sweeping city views.
