Athens is back on track to receive many tourists, after years of a debt-struck crises and news reports. The city was vibrant, youthful and very welcoming to us. The Acropolis, simply put the most important ancient site in the western world, is an ever-changing construction site but awe-inspiring giving its 6000 years of history.

In the morning we had the great pleasure to meet with the vice-Mayor of Athens, responsible for City Planning and Construction. It was very interesting to hear her views on how the city can support the growth of own businesses and the development plans that are in place for the upcoming years. In the afternoon we took the tourist trail and indulged us in the millennia of ancient history that this city has to tell. A place to come back to!
