I Am Brand New China: Terry Liu

rand New China is not only about Chinese brands. It’s even more about Chinese people. It’s about the faces behind the brands we travel with, but also those we work with and got to meet over the past years living in China. Amazing and unique individuals (and definitely not the stereotype they-all-look-the-same Chinese) with their own dreams and aspirations. Therefore …

Day 06 – Chongqing to Chengdu

n Chongqing we were accompanied by Greg, super-cool cameraman from South Africa who flew in to shoot us for a couple of days. Really celebrity style!

Day 05 – Urban and spicy Chongqing!

e have spent a day in the largest urban agglomeration in China, Chongqing. A fascinating city at the convergence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers with the spiciest chilies, most beautiful woman in China (at least so they say… we agree!) and some amazing driving along the waterfront and across bridges!

Day 04 – Badong to Chongqing

fter a peek into the Three Gorges in Hubei province, we set off to the spiciest city of China = Chongqing! Mouth numbing peppercorns and chili peppers!

Day 03 – Wuhan to Badong

leven hours driving through the Chinese heartland of Hubei province. A mix between one of the great engineering wonders of the world (Three Gorges Dam), incredible mountain scenery, backdoor country roads, endless agriculture lands and surprising cities!

Day 02 – Wuhan!

Day 01 – Shanghai to Wuhan!

nd we’re off! Last-minute packing of the car took longer than expected, and we couldn’t get our roof rack on the car (yes, we’re really not that handy with cars). So we departed a day too late so had a bit of a stretch yesterday: we drove from Shanghai to Wuhan in a day, which is 850km. Without problems though, …
