Holy Samarkand, no name is so evocative of the Silk Road as Samarkand. Great historical figures have ruled or stayed in this city for many years: Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Marco Polo, Amir Timur. We set off in the morning to discover this place ourselves and were blown away by its magical appearance.

Wat toch een prachtige kleuren in Samarkand. De foto’s met de kleurrijke vrouwen vind ik geweldig evenals de kleurrijke moskee’ s . En dan de kleurrijke questhouses…… Nemen jullie ook veel souvenirs mee…….ha,ha…….ik houd me voor sjaals aanbevolen….
