The smells of fresh cherries and raspberries welcome us at the local bazar (market) only 400 meters away from our hotel. The freshness and healthiness makes me want to buy them all! Even the potatoes are aligned in an organised manner!
We both really appreciate the local markets in China where fish heads are chopped off in front of our eyes or the smells that come towards you are harsh to categorize but this market is of a different nature… fresh, healthy and straight from the farm, or so it feels.
Gorky Park, just a 500 meter walk away from the bazar, provides us with the quiet and relaxing space that we sometimes need to edit photos, write posts or take a well-deserved afternoon nap… only to be awoken by Rogier and a male-mermaid??
